NASA Telescopes Shedding New Light in Space

When NASA unveiled its first Hubble Space Telescope image of 2022, it was a deceptive one. It seemed to depict two galaxies that were about to collide. However, it turned out to be a matter of perspective. NGC 105 is, in fact, in front of the other galaxy – not on a collision course toward it. Hubble was launched on April 25, 1990, and passed its one-billion second mark on January 1, 2022. But, there’s a new telescope in space. On December 24, 2021, the most complex, not to mention largest, telescope to ever be launched into space was deployed. The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) was launched from Kourou, French Guiana.
