This New Power Supply Line Is Made Explicitly for the Medical Industry

A California custom manufacturer of commercial, industrial, and consumer electronic devices is launching a new product line targeting the medical industry. Triad Magnetics has just expanded its offerings to now include its newly developed WMX medical wall plug-in switch mode power supplies. The typical power supply in the market that is UL/IEC 60601 compliant was designed for the industrial and consumer market before being modified for the medical market. Triad’s new line is unique in that it is explicitly made for use in the healthcare sector. “Companies that provide medical equipment want to make sure they have a quality power supply — not a cheap consumer product that has been adapted for the medical industry,” said Lazaro Rodriguez, engineering manager at Triad Magnetics. “Our new WMX medical wall plug-in switch mode power supplies were designed from the ground up specifically for the medical industry. As a result, they are ergonomic and cosmetically suited for use in hospitals.”
