Transportation Heads Call on World Leaders to Secure Global Supply Chains

On Sept. 29, the International Chamber of Shipping announced it was calling on governments to “ensure the free movement of transport workers and to end travel bans and other restrictions that have had an enormously detrimental impact on their wellbeing and safety.” The group says that while transportation workers have been meeting the needs of the global supply chain, they have “been continually failed by governments and taken for granted by their officials.” The group issued the following statement:
