Winbond Unveils New 1.8V 512Mb SPI NOR flash for 5G and Other High-End Server Applications

Winbond Electronics Corporation, a global supplier of semiconductor memory solutions, today announced it is expanding its total solution of SPI NOR Flash with the introduction of the new single die monolithic 1.8V 512Mb SPI NOR flash that can support up to 166 MHz standard/dual/quad SPI clocks. Apart from the existing 3V 512Mb W25Q512JV, the new 1.8V W25Q512NW SPI NOR Flash also features pin-to-pin compatibility, enabling customers to easily upgrade to higher flash storage capacities without having to change the footprint of their designs. This enables them to extend the life of their products, speed time to market, and save development time and effort by having one single flash platform that can be used across their future product roadmap.
