More and more people are leaving the workforce to become their own boss or start side hustles that can generate passive income. However, with so many businesses already in existence as major competition, it can be difficult to develop a new startup idea that’s guaranteed to succeed. So, how do entrepreneurs find the inspiration for developing a fresh idea, product, or service? 1. Use Existing Passions as a Starting Point To start, get out a piece of paper and write down a list of your hobbies that require some form of work. This can be anything from woodcarving to coding websites to writing short stories. From there, create a second column and note all of the ways this type of work can be shared with others, such as through online courses, utilizing e-commerce, or through a brick-and-mortar location. Then, create a combination of items from the first and second columns as potential business ideas.
