If you’re a Kroger supermarket shopper and live in Centerville, Ohio, you could soon find yourself part of a unique and interesting test program. That’s because the national grocery store chain will soon begin delivering customer orders via drone. A pilot program will begin this spring where orders that weigh up to five pounds will be sent via the open skies, using Kroger’s partner in the endeavor, Drone Express. Drone Express will reportedly use certified drone pilots and comply with FAA requirements to get your products from point A to point B.
