NASA has recently announced that a loss for Boeing will be a sizable gain for SpaceX. Boeing has been on tap to carry out half of NASA’s commercial crew missions over the next few years, with SpaceX taking the other half. But ongoing delays on behalf of Boeing means that, while SpaceX has completed three missions, Boeing has not yet embarked on a single one. Unfortunately for Boeing, technical issues have resulted in significant delays, and NASA is moving on.
